Conditions of Hire

Equipment

All items will remain the property of Prohire Catering Supply Limited. 
The hirer will be charged for the replacement cost of missing or damaged items.
Once delivered, the liability for all hired items becomes that of the hirer until time of collection/return.  It is the responsibility of the hirer to have insurance cover for the equipment, if required.
No responsibility will be accepted for death or injury resulting from the use of hired equipment.
The standard hire period is from 1-3 days unless agreed otherwise.

Delivery and collection

Any shortages found on delivery must be notified immediately otherwise the customer will be charged for missing items.
Delivery and collection to the site must be at ground level.
Deliveries left at premises unattended by customers are left at the customer’s risk.
The hirer will be liable for full delivery charges due to unsuccessful deliveries because of limited or no access to the delivery venue.
Hire items must be ready packed in boxes supplied for collection.
All deliveries/collections will be made between 09:00-17:30 Mon-Fri unless prior agreement has been made.
Should we not meet our agreed delivery time due to unforeseen circumstances (traffic accident etc.), we are not liable for any compensation pursued by the hirer.  We will try our best to ensure the delivery reaches you at the shortest time possible.
The hirer may wish to collect and return items and will not incur any delivery charges.

Washing up

A washing up service is provide free of charge.
Please ensure all large items of debris have been removed before returning ie. scrape all plates before packing into box.  Linen must be free of pins.

Cancellation

Cancellations within 5 days of delivery will incur a charge of 30% of the total hire cost.
Please inform us of any changes to an order as soon as possible to in order for us to meet your requests.

Ordering and payment

Orders can be placed by phone, fax, email or in writing.
All prices are subject to VAT at the current rate.

Payment must be made in full before delivery.
